HOW TO CHOOSE THE CORRECT PAIR OF JEANS?

Do you think twice before buying a pair of jeans? Do you own multiple pairs of jeans but tend to repeat the same 1 or 2 pairs again and again? Because I do! guilty as charged, I find it difficult to like a pair of jeans, then adjust to its fit and then let it go. If you feel the same then I am gonna share few tips on How To Know The Correct Size And Fit For You.

Following are the different types of jeans are available:

Dos and Don'ts:

  • Don't always follow the trend

for example, if high rise jeans are in trend then that doesn't mean those are the jeans you should buy. Just because the style is trending doesn't mean that it will flatter your body.

  • Always find the correct stretch

when you try the jeans while buying them, if they fit tight that doesn't mean they aren't correct for you. Jeans are made up of denim fabric which is stretchable. So, don't go for a bigger size at once. They always open up a bit after 1/2 washes.

  • Find the correct size

the waistband to the jeans should sit perfectly on your waist. You should never be able to put your entire hand into the back of the waistband. If you do, then it's not the correct size. You should easily be able to put 1/2 fingers around the waistband if not, then the size is tight you for. Whether loose or tight- it will not be flattering.

  • Don't ignore the crotch

jeans from the crotch should also stretch and snuggle up the skin. If the fabric is loose, hangs or doesn't fit against the skin then its not the correct size for you.

  • Bootcut/ flared jeans

they can be worn with a pair of heels if longer in length- but it is very important that the length fits perfectly on the ground. Otherwise, it will look shabby.

  • Hemming

hemming according to your choice of length might not be a wrong idea. They can look pretty awesome if the 'fit' is right.
