MUST VISIT EATERY IN GOA!

Updated: Mar 10, 2020

Beach calling and I had to go!

Goa is one of my favourite places in India! The reason is its beautiful stretch of water bodies. Beaches are therapeutic to me. Its their openness and freshness that rejuvenates my soul.

In this article, I wont be writing about the journey but I'll write about the places that vegetarian people (even non vegetarian) like me can try when they visit Goa.

1. Calamari Bathe n Binge Cafe

Its a beautiful shack restaurant in Candolim beach. Their color theme is blue and white. They have 4 types of seating at their shack- the sun beds, dining out in the open, dining outdoor but under a roof, and then last dining indoor. Their menu is pretty vast. The vibe is perfect for a decent chill night. They have live music at night with mix of goan, bollywood and hollywood music. This one is my favourite.

2. Eva cafe

It is located at anjuna beach. Its a pretty little cafe with a bohemian vibe. The menu is alright if you want to grab a quick bite. Their drinks are refreshing. One thing I noticed about this cafe was that people have to enter the cafe bear foot. The color theme for this cafe is white and neutrals.

3.Thalassa

It is a greek restaurant in Siolim that offers scenic water and sunset view. The menu is limited for the vegetarians but the vibe and the view compensates for it. I went for dinner and the place was crowded especially the dance floor. If you love dancing then this is the right place for you! Their color theme is all white with lush palm trees and beautiful sea on the side. I had a bowl of spaghetti and peri peri fries.

4. Curlies Its one of good shacks in Anjuna. Its a pretty huge shack with sun-beds on the beach. In order to reach this place you'll have to cross a small flea market between the hills. I sat there for a while and the view was magnificent.

5. Titlie Its a small, open restaurant in Anjuna. I stopped there for a quick bite at night. There were limited people inside but the DJ played some cool hip songs. I ordered sweet potato with chickpea croquette which was delicious. The service was also great.

"wash your worries away"- don't you agree ?
